I’ve done an “about” section for the last 20-odd years on the internet, and I’ve never gotten any better at talking about myself.
I’m Levi, the online alias I’ve taken on for a long time. In short, this is my sanctuary on the internet—where I write longer posts regarding my interests and hobbies. I have a lot of relatively unique interests ranging from video games, literature, alternative fashion, history, and more. Enjoy your stay.

Now … the long introduction. This will likely get tweaked over time until it’s to my liking.
Internet alias is Levi, but I use a variety of usernames on other places such as the fediverse, steam, discord, and twitch. Pronouns are he/him/his and I’m a millennial with grey hairs only on my temples. I grew up on the internet, primarily in fandom spaces. With the growing enshittifcation of the internet, I’ve decided to focus more on creating my own space for just me and my interests.
I’m a queer autistic man in NYC. I’m a former りゅうがくせい (international student in Japanese) and am always plotting my return to Japan. As you can imagine, I’m a fan of various anime and manga, but I’m also a lover of Japanese history, language, and culture. I enjoy EGL fashion, vkei and jrock music, and unique Japan-only releases for video games and tech. Basically, just an otaku.
I like strategy games (think Civilization 6) and JRPGs (Pokemon, Shin Megami Tensei including Persona and non-Persona games, amongst others). If I don’t want to play a certain video game but am interested in it, I generally will watch a LP or stream of the games. At least some of this blog will feature in-depth thoughts about anime/manga and video games, with spoilers having a warning.
